Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and data-driven Sales and Marketing Analyst with a high degree of competency in predictive modeling and data analytics to join our team. This role is critical in helping us leverage data to make strategic decisions, forecast market trends, and optimize sales and marketing performance. The ideal candidate will be adept at analyzing large datasets, identifying patterns, and utilizing advanced predictive models to deliver actionable insights that drive business growth.
- Monitoring and forecasting marketing and sales trends
- Predictive Modeling for Marketing Lead Prioritization from ZoomInfo, HubSpot, Salesforce data using R, Python Scripts, Power BI, Tableau or other similar tool sets
- Utilize advanced machine learning techniques like regression analysis, decision trees, and time-series forecasting to predict future customer actions.
- Identify leading indicators of marketing and sales success to optimize campaigns and improve ROI.
- Using Power BI to analyze Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and HubSpot data.
- Gathering data about consumers, competitors, and market conditions
- Converting complex data into understandable graphs, tables, and written reports
- Preparing reports and presenting them to leadership
As a Sales and Marketing Data Analyst, you’ll break down key business data, including revenue cycles, sales, market information, and customer behavior. You’ll interpret data, looking for patterns or areas for improvement. You’ll also analyze, prepare, and share your findings with business, marketing, and sales professionals to help provide data-driven strategies to optimize sales. Business intelligence analysts demonstrate strong skills in data analysis, communications, management, and computer analytics programs.
Experience Preferred:
- 3 years of relevant Marketing, Statistics, Consulting, and Marketing Analytics, preferably in related areas such as customer analytics, marketing campaign analysis or CRM analysis
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
Analytics Requirements:
- Advanced understanding of Salesforce, Power BI, R, Python, or similar tools with the ability to develop complex from-scratch queries
- Experience using tools like R and Python for their predictive models and machine learning algorithms
- Should understand retrieval of large data sets and the analytical activities required to validate findings and present impactful recommendations
- Basic knowledge of programming logic and database design, including understanding table structure, table relationships, and the creation and production of both static and dynamic reports
- Track record of using data and insights to drive change and implement new initiatives
